Sheepskin Ranch was incorporated in Fort Worth, Texas in 1982 by Sidney and Barbara Ander. Mr. Ander was a genuine sheepskin chemist for 35 years working in sheepskin tanneries and factories all over the world. As a result of his extensive experience, Mr. Ander was one of the first chemists to develop the washable sheepskin in the United States.

This development led Sheepskin Ranch to manufacture 100% genuine sheepskin for medical use. Washable medical sheepskin helps prevent and reduce Decubitus Ulcers (bed sores) for patients who have limited mobility. Sheepskin Ranch is one of the leading manufacturers of medical sheepskin. We offer a full spectrum of products ranging from bed cover pads to wheelchair covers to heel and elbow protectors.
